I’m Sherry Nachman, the founder of Nachman Executive Consulting and the creator of the EmpowHER Series.
From a young age, I was raised to value hard work and to understand the power of genuine relationships. Those lessons became the foundation of my career. With more than 20 years of experience in business development, I’ve learned that while skills may start conversations, it is trust, honesty, and meaningful connection that build lasting success.
Nachman Executive Consulting began as a recruiting firm focused on helping companies find the right talent. Over time, it grew into something deeper. Today, NEC is a growth consulting firm that helps leaders and businesses think intentionally about how they build, connect, and lead. I work with executives and organizations that want to grow with purpose, elevate their leadership, and create impact through strategy and relationships.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen the power of strategic networking. Bringing the right people together is more than just good business. It creates momentum, opens doors, and builds confidence. That philosophy is what led me to create the EmpowHER Series, a platform for women leaders to come together, share wisdom, mentor across industries, and grow in community. Each event is designed with intention to connect leaders who are bold, driven, and committed to lifting others as they rise.
At the center of everything I do are my two children, Nathan and Avery. They are my why. Their strength, resilience, and love inspire me to show up every day with heart and purpose.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, I am deeply connected to my community and proud of the meaningful work we are building together. I believe in doing business with authenticity and in creating spaces where others can thrive. Passion, consistency, and loyalty guide everything I do.
