Katie O’Malley has dedicated her career to public service, law, and advocacy. A former Baltimore City District Court judge, Katie has spent decades championing justice, fairness, and the well-being of Maryland families. Beyond the courtroom, Katie is a passionate mentor and leader. She has supported countless young professionals, law students, and advocates in navigating careers in public service and law. Her outreach extends across Maryland, where she is known for her approachable mentorship and thoughtful guidance, particularly for women pursuing leadership roles in civic life.

At home, Katie’s heart is with her family. She and her husband, Martin O'Malley, raised four children while balancing careers in public life. Katie remains grounded in her belief that service, empathy, and environmental stewardship are essential to building a better future. Whether advocating for victims of domestic violence or promoting sustainable community initiatives, she leads with integrity, compassion, and purpose.

Lauren Ades is a Member with PK Law and Chairs the Firm’s Corporate and Real Estate Group. She is the first woman at the Firm to hold this prestigious leadership position. Lauren has significant experience in the areas of corporate and business law, commercial financing and real estate. She advises clients in mergers and acquisitions, business formation and business and real estate transactions that range from the relatively simple to highly complex. Her clients include individuals, commercial developers, private investors, lenders, commercial real estate owners and other business owners. She has been selected for inclusion on the Best Lawyers in America list for Corporate and Real Estate Law from 2021 to present.

Beyond the practice of law, Lauren is deeply invested in mentoring and community service. She is a frequent speaker and panelist on leadership and professional development and actively guides young attorneys.  Lauren also volunteers her time with civic and nonprofit boards working to develop a culture of engagement and inclusiveness and providing basic needs.

After returning to Baltimore after receiving her undergraduate degree at Emory University and juris doctorate at New York Law School, she became a Baltimore Community Connector for the Louise D. and Morton J. Macks Jewish Connection Network and now serves as Chair. She is a former Member and past Chair of the IMPACT Board, the young adult division of The Associated, a past member of The Associated’s Young Leadership Council. In 2019 she was awarded the Harry Greenwald Young Leadership Award.

Nicole Windsor is a Shareholder at Shulman Rogers and a trusted advisor to businesses across Maryland and beyond.With nearly 25 years of experience in employment law, she is known for her practical, straightforward counsel to CEOs, general counsel, HR leaders, and entrepreneurs. Nicole helps clients navigate complex legal landscapes, from compliance with federal and state labor laws to resolving disputes before agencies like the EEOC and Maryland Civil Rights Commission.
